Taylor-Swift
Taylor Swift, in full Taylor Alison Swift (born December 13th, 1989 West Reading Pennsylvania U.S.) American pop and country music singer-songwriter whose tales of heartbreak in the early years achieved wide popularity in the first decade of the 21st century. Swift was interested in music from an early time. She swiftly rose through the ranks, starting by playing roles in the theater for children and eventually performing in front of a huge crowd. When she was 11 years old, she performed The Star-Spangled Banner before a Philadelphia 76ers basketball game and in the next year, she took up guitar and began writing songs. Swift had taken her ideas from Shania's music and that of the Dixie Chicks now known as The Chicks in the world in country music wrote the original songs she wrote to express her feelings of alienation. Swift's parents moved her from Pennsylvania to Tennessee when she was 13 after selling their Pennsylvania farm. This gave Swift to devote more time trying to find labels that would promote the country genre in Nashville.
